...Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment first NHL Team in Canada to showcase a "Live Chat Session" on its website.

Vancouver (BC) - Vancouver Canucks' all-star right wing Pavel Bure will talk to his fans live on the Internet at 6:30 p.m. (PST) prior to the February 7, 1996 home game against the Hartford Whalers, the club announced today. This marks the first time an NHL player from a Canadian sports franchise will talk live on his team's own website.

"We are very excited about the new opportunities the Internet offers to professional sports and Vancouver fans," said Bob Kerstein, Chief Information Officer for Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment. "Fans worldwide now have an opportunity to chat one-to-one with Canucks' star Pavel Bure....Cy-Bure." One hour before game time, Bure will log into cyberspace at www.Orcabay.com and answer questions from fans and followers alike.

Bure, nicknamed "the Russian Rocket," is the Canucks' first 50 goal scorer and 100 point player, scoring 60 goals in both the 1992-93 and 1993-94 regular seasons. He finished first in scoring last season with 20 goals and 23 assists for 43 points. NHL fans voted him to the 1995 NHL All Star First Team this season, but due to injury he was unable to play.

Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment operates one of the most comprehensive websites on the Internet with over 250 pages of information devoted to professional sports and entertainment. The website averages approximately 15,000 hits a day by Internet surfers around the world.

The Orca Bay website, located at www.Orcabay.com, is the official home page of the Vancouver Canucks, Vancouver Grizzlies, General Motors Place, Winning Spirit., Canuck Place, Greater Vancouver Open and the Vancouver VooDoo.
